The mobility programme supports travel which is linked to exchange
and cooperation which will consolidate the arts sector in the Mediterranean region
The trip should facilitate networking, cooperation and exchange between professionals
in the arts
The trip should allow the candidate to network: this concerns any event which involves
preparatory meetings for collaboration projects, network meetings, artists’ residencies,
seminars, conferences,...
The experience should indirectly contribute to local cultural development
The experience should allow the candidate to develop local initiatives, and to contribute
to the cultural dynamism of his/her own country or region. He/she should be committed to
transfer the skills and knowledge gained in order to benefit other artists
or professionals in his or her circle.
The project should demonstrate continuity and long term objectives
The trip should be seen as a step in a longer process of cooperation and exchange.
ATTENTION
- travel grants are not available for trips linked to production or touring: the Fund does
not finance travel in the framework of the actual production period or travel linked to the
touring of work.
- Requests for visiting festivals are eligible only if their aim is to
meet professionals or attend workshops (exceptions are made for cinema and visual arts).
- requests for residencies to create work are eligible only if the travel is for the first
stage of a project (research, experimentation).
